Tonkotsu Ramen

Not to be confused with tonkatsu (breaded porkchop) this Tonkotsu Ramen is one of the main types of ramen broth, along with Shio, shoyu and miso broth. This tonkotsu broth is made with pork bones boiled for hours which renders the broth cloudy and savory.
This particular tonkotsu ramen is from Majikku Ramen in Daly City. I am always in love with this restaurant because everything i have ordered so far is always fantastic! This ramen has some red pickled ginger or beni shoga. It was to my liking, both sour and striking taste of ginger. Slices of the tonkatsu was golden brown and crisp. All in all, a great meal!
