Last day today (9 December) for 1 for 1 scoops (applies to ice cream only)! 🍨🍨 . Promotion applies to adds-on on waffles and crepes as well! ✨ Waffles are served in a double stack and drizzled with maple syrup by default, along with scoop(s) of ice cream flavor(s) of your choice! Went back on 2 consecutive days, mainly for the ice cream and partly because I happen to be in the vicinity, I tried the Russian Earl grey x Raw honey lavender as well as Uji matcha honey x Dark chocolate (swipe to view). The earl grey was fragrant with a lingering aroma, a subtle and mellow tea flavour that could have been stronger but was glad it’s still distinct at least. The raw honey lavender remains my favourite flavour here, with its lingering floral aroma and a pleasant tinge of natural sweetness. Hardly do you see a WHITE colour lavender ice cream but I am assuming the one here did not contain any artificial colouring- which comes across as a piece of great news! ✌🏻 On the other hand, the uji matcha honey caught me by pleasant surprise, which seems to have improved from my first visit months back, coming with a lingering bitter undertone that was subtle, mellow yet smooth and pleasant to the palate. The characteristic earthy, umami note was distinct but not intense, only a slight astringency that serves to cater to the general public, but not for the hardcore matchaholics! The dark chocolate has got to be my least favourite among all flavours here, coming with a bittersweet flavour that leans towards a sweeter, milky profile after some time, lacking the intensity and darkness of a typical dark chocolate I would have expected it to be. Waffles were slightly crisp on the edges, with a soft and fluffy interior. Decent I would say, though it would have been great if the exterior was more crisp! ✨ .
