Only ordered this because i love some good ol' truffle but i must say this was quite disappointing😶😶 When the dish came, i was rather excited to try it as i was hit by the rather strong truffle aroma. However, this excitement quickly fizzled off because the truffle taste was so subtle and hardly there. I guess it was more mayonnaise than truffle 🙁
Another thing was that the use of curly fries which have their own strong characteristic flavour made it even harder to detect the truffle taste, and it was also a pity that the truffle mayo sauce was mostly only at the top as seen in the picture and the fries at the bottom were hence bare and towards the end, we were left eating the plain fries on their own.
