has been on my Burpple wishlist for the longest time and I finally got the time to make a trip there for brunch. The two mains that we have gotten include the familiar Creamy Mushrooms on Toasted Sourdough ($14), a best seller in the Atlas menu, and the Columbus’ Fried Chicken Burger & Fries ($18). The former needs no introduction if you have been to their other cafes as the shimeiji mushroom in herbed and white wine cream sauce over toasted sourdough and finished with grated Parmesan is a crowd pleaser. An addition of scrambled eggs ($3) is highly recommended. The latter is a “Zinger-ish” chicken burger with a twist, as it is curry spiced and sandwiched between a brioche bun. If you have stomach room for more, do make space for the Butterscotch Banana Pancakes ($18.50) that comes with maple-glazed cornflakes and vanilla ice cream. To me, it came across as overly sweet but you can probably adjust the sweetness by not pouring the entire maple syrup.
