🍴Our GO to when we are craving noodles😉. Have been here a couple of times now and always leave satisfied from their hearty and yummy noodles. Their best seller is the #signatureburstingmeatball that was a giant homemade meat ball filled with more juicy meat and stock (think xiao long bao except instead of a thin skin it’s MORE meat 😂). As my grandfather comes from Fuzhou, I personally prefer the Fuzhou fishball version (+$2.90) that’s meat wrapped in fish paste as the pure meat version can get a bit too rich. The winning aspect was the delicious soup - a fishbone broth enhanced by their special shao xing yellow wine. One can choose to add the wine all at once/ slowly and I personally prefer the slow addition to enjoy the original umami broth and subtle changes from the gradual adding of the fragrant alcohol. Their handmade pan mee version comes with added ikan billis, shallots, onions and black fungus to give a slightly more complex soup. Personally preferred the thicker over the thinner noodles. Also a fan of their dry Hakka style noodles so my recommendation would be to see what catches your eye and give it a try ☺️
