What looked quaint at first sight became ridiculous after a while. The tea was lovely. My fav earl grey with the aroma of lavender. But this set up practically ensured that the tea became cold in super quick-time. The server assured us that we could request for hot water anytime, but that seemed to miss the point. I don’t think I drank anything hotter than lukewarm the entire time coz I couldn’t concentrate on timing the hot water while chatting with my friend. And after I finished my eggs on avo toast, the first pour was stone cold.
