I can remember the stir @binomiorestaurante created when it first landed on our shores. It was full house every night and reservations were tough to secure.

They seem to have gone under the radar in recent years but their food remains excellent. I was at their tapas bar for lunch recently and they offered a bar tasting menu at $79 and $95 for 6 and 8 tapas respectively. Perfect for a group of hungry growing (old) boys.

There is a huge variety of tapas ranging from traditional appetizers such as pates and croquettes to "heavier" mains such as fideau negra and paella.

My personal must-orders are the gambas al ajillo (sauteed prawns in olive oil, garlic and parsley) and pulpo a la gallega (octopus!). You can never be sick of these crowd favourites!
