I’m all for mentaiko and I was super excited to get this, but it kinda wasn’t as satisfying as I thought it would be. Thumbs up to that generous portion of mentaiko, but if you like the flavours more prominent, I’d recommend not to fully mix in that half boiled egg as ours felt ‘too eggy’. The udon itself was pretty nice and slightly chewy but I’m not sure if it was the cook on the udon, the dish actually felt quite heavy from the doughy-ness. The regular portion is at $11.90!
