Chef Masayasu Yonemura has opened two very successful Michelin-starred restaurants, first in Kyoto then in Tokyo, and this is his first restaurant outside of Japan.
🔸
It was a theatrical dining experience, expressed through a showmanship of burning cocktail, teppanyaki (pictured), and flambé desserts.
🔸
But it's definitely more than this lively artistry, because his culinary finesse was what took centre stage in this 8 course dinner. The meal blended chef Yonemura’s forte in innovative French-Japanese fare with the traditional searing iron griddle, thus synthesizing sizzling teppanyaki with nouvelle Japanese kaiseki. The results were very, very impressive.

I highly recommend this place, and I'm thankful to @rwsentosa for inviting me to experience this first hand.
