Now for the star of the night: The Niku Blue ($108.00++), an impressive platter of 5 different cuts of beef. There is a method to the madness - the recommended feasting sequence for us was: Knuckle, Rib Finger, Chuck Roll, Bottom Round, & Chuck Tender. Obviously you don't *have* to follow it, but..... You should.

We did, very quickly understood why. The marbling of the beef became more complex in this sequence, which made the flavours & textures more amazing as you went on. At the end of it all, the wagyu was practically melting in our mouths as we moaned & grunted in absolute delight (lol)

I like how the meats are not marinated like crazy, so you can enjoy the true taste of fresh wagyu. The condiments on the side (such as truffle salt & their special onion sauce) were good, but the beef was so delicious on its own that I didn't reach for them much. That's pretty much how I eat most of the time, anyway.

In all, honestly a good sampling platter for you & your friends to figure out your favourites to order during your next visit πŸ˜‰

Thank you Niku Kin for the hospitality, & Burpple for the invite! πŸ’•
