🍴With Pantler just a stone throw’s away and Baristart my reigning favourite (check out #chouxchowdown for their comparison), couldn’t help but check out this new contender.

The choux was served crisp with a crackling exterior, although the interior was slightly dry. It was generously piped with cream that lay somewhere between milk and custard. While the lighter cream was not spectacular per se, the winning and unique element was the addition of crunchy caramelised almond pieces within.

Price-wise, this would be the most affordable for its size (slight bigger than Baristart’s). While personally still prefer the luscious cream of Baristart’s and richer cream of Pantler’s, the fight is close and which you prefer is taste-specific.
