Each All Star Combo Set was made up of 2 small portions of meat accompanied with rice, salad, pickled radish and a katsu dipping sauce. For the meats, we had the grilled lamb (spicy), sirloin steak, tonkatsu and sirloin katsu. Total bill came up to about $41 for 2 pax after GST and service charge.

Grilled lamb (spicy) had a nice gochujang-based sauce which went very well with rice. The breading for both katsu were light and crispy but not greasy, which made it very enjoyable. Sirloin steak was well-seasoned, almost melt-in-your-mouth kind of texture apart from some sort of ligament that was not removed and made it difficult to chew.

It's a rather small restaurant with very limited seating. We went on the night before Christmas Eve but it was pretty quiet with only a few dine-in customers. However, online orders were pouring in, as we stood outside the shop waiting for close to 10 mins to be seated. We eventually walked ourselves in.

Even though service was lacking at the beginning, the food definitely made up for it and we would probably return for the hamburg steak in the future and when I crave for a good katsu that doesn't cost a fortune (comes up slightly cheaper than some katsu specialty places). Side note: drinks might not be worth it.
