Chef Joel’s Mee Kia ($14) is one item on the menu that I’ve always wanted to try. The springy egg noodle is tossed in a lardy sauce and served with their signature BBQ pork cheek, truffle sous vide egg, crab meat, garlic bits and vegetables. The grilled pork cheek is tender, slightly sweet, well charred and not too fatty. Although the truffle taste is not very prominent, all the flavours come together nicely and I enjoyed this thoroughly.
