Hankering for a true blue lobster roll experience, I opt for the Chunky’s Connecticut, where the lobsters are tossed in butter to get the purest flavour. Every roll here is filled to the brim with a generous amount of sweet and fresh lobster meat with flavours further elevated by the melted butter, all while being comfortably encased within a soft toasted bun.
Each serving comes with a side of golden cassava chips which would have tasted better if it was utterly crispy. Mine was rather ‘lau hong’ (deflated). But I imagined it would have given the meal a nice crunch and more satisfying experience.
Top it all off with a set, which comes with a drink and a thick creamy bisque!
