Based on the concept of American diners, the quaint setting and menu (inclusive of cheap coffee with refills!) did indeed remind me of my days in the USA.

The flavour of the pancakes was abit too decadent (strangely reminded me of cottage cheese) but that may just be a matter of personal preference for lighter tasting ones. To me, the true mark of a good pancake is if it still tastes good without an exorbitant amount of maple syrup and these passed the test!
Texture wise they were thick and so-fluffy-im-gonna-die. I also appreciated the fact that it didn't sit heavy in my tummy after I was done with them.

Now, whoever said that you can only eat breakfast food in the morning?
