Herbal Wine Steamboat ($35)

The aroma from this steamboat caught my attention when I walked past this coffeeshop while exploring my hood. Chun Tat Kee tze char stall is tucked away at a corner coffeeshop along North Bridge Road and serves up their house speciality herbal wine steamboat set that feeds about 4 pax. The combination platter comprises prawns, scallops, sea cucumber, razor clams, cuttlefish, sliced fish, sliced pork, vegetables and enoki mushrooms. Whilst the ingredients were in abundance, it was actually the herbal wine broth that got my tastebuds tingling as the bubbling hot broth was full of flavour and made even better after all the ingredients were added in. Best part was that additional soup was provided free-of-charge. There is also the option to add extra ingredients if necessary.
