A classic done right, their Beef Shabu Ricebowl ($13.50) was a comforting hug with the sweet and savoury flavours. Think beef slices with diced spam, enoki, sweet sliced onions, Hanjuku Egg, and furikake on a steamy bed of rice. Prepared with their housemade kombu dashi broth, the short rib slices were thin and tender. Love the soft spam cubes adding little bursts of saltiness.
