Check out the Single Origin Dark Chocolate series, especially comforting on a cooling day like this. I have always enjoyed @discoverthedark’s fine quality of cocoa, an indulgence that I am willing to dive into. As a dark chocolate lover, I am glad that the Tanzania 75% Dark chocolate didn’t disappoint. With a subtle acidity, a strong body of fruitiness and intense bitterness, the chocolate flavour was further lifted by a hint of spiciness, which would probably pair well with berries or nuts. Boyf had the Venezuela 72% Dark chocolate that displayed heavy woody notes. Robust, but somehow slightly creamier in my opinion. Recommended pairings are bergamot, caramel, hazelnut.
