'Comforting homemade bread pudding. Served warm with vanilla ice cream & whiskey sauce.'
There was a strong alcoholic taste present in the sweet and thick whiskey sauce which made this quite unique and no doubt paired well with the cold, creamy and very milky vanilla ice cream. Don't think they used actual vanilla bean in this as I couldn't see the specks of vanilla bean. The bread pudding was not memorable and have definitely tried better ones at hotel buffets.
Comforting dessert but again, nothing that really says 'please try me again'.
