Ng Kuan occupies the spot where the legendary Simon Road Hokkien Mee used to be. This corner coffeeshop is located within the Kovan supper belt (Punggol Nasi Lemak and Qi Wei Chicken Hotpot are nearby). A word of warning for any of you who would think that the Chilli 🌶 is the 甘香type. This stuff is really spicy! Mix sparingly if you are a 小辣person. The runny egg goes really well with the 拌面, lending it an almost carbonara-esque smoothness. Props to the peppery soup too. Great for supper as this place opens 24-7!
