Consider this Afro cafe in Keong Saik for your next coffee date, the second storey is a gorgeous space — chic and full of personality, with a touch of understated glamour. And more importantly, great coffee — though not quite in the same vein as your typical specialty coffeehouse.

Their selection of coffee is diverse and unique, with plenty of African influences. Moreover, many would be charmed by their special Ubuntu blend's full-bodied and intense character, finished with subtle chocolate notes.

This 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 ($6) was a charming display of their esotericism. The hokkaido milk made it dreamily creamy, but not at all cloying. A medley of spices including cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg added a complementary spice-forward complexity to the coffee, but in a tastefully-restrained ratio that would still endear to less adventurous palates.
