Located in the famous Army Market along Beach Road, this Hainanese Chicken Rice store serves up an inexpensive rendition of my favourite local delight. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and after getting the food, the taste! The rice was fragrant, albeit being slightly dry, but that didn't really affect the experience. The chicken was nicely flavoured with the sauce which was not too salty, and I really really liked the texture of the chicken which was soft and tender. At $2.50, this is really a good steal for a meal in the outskirts of town.
