After winning the inaugural MasterChef Asia in 2015, @woowaileong finally ventured into the F&B business and opened his own restaurant, @restaurantibid. Operating from one of the humble shophouses along North Canal Road, it offers Nanyang-style Contemporary Chinese cuisine at affordable prices during lunch service. Available only from Wednesdays to Fridays, a 2-course meal at $18 & a 3-course meal at $25 only?!? And of course from Mondays to Saturdays, they are opened for dinner service too, but with a different tasting menu.

I love a good risotto as much as a good thunder tea rice, so why not have them combined together? Taste and texture wise, everything was on point. But if I had to nitpick, I wished the fish skin was crispier.
