We called in advance at 4.30pm to make a reservation for dinner (but still ended up needing to wait about 10mins from reserved timing / 25mins from the point you reach the hawker and let them know which table you are sitted at). We got the $5 bowls X 2 (because we always believe the portion is lesser for a 1x $10). You have the option to choose all chicken or mixed (chicken + sausage). We loved it that the chicken here was super soft!! But the chilli used is the chicken rice chilli kind (with a tinge of sourness) rather than the spicy belachan kind (which i prefer). Between this and the Holland drive claypot, I actually prefer this! Although the claypot rice at aljunied (Tian Tian Xiang) is still at the top of my list because of the chilli! (Side note: we were sitted right outside this stall and we saw how the claypot cover was immediately used to cook another bowl without washing. Lol and how the order paper sheets were stuffed into the claypot with rice inside.
