They ran out of char siew when we arrived for a late lunch, so we had a double portion of siew yoke for the double roast noodles. My heart's still firmly with Foong Kee but this ain't bad at all, and it's among the few value-for-money options on this overpriced shopping belt. Really enjoyed the homemade meatball soup though – that'll probably be my go-to when I'm stuck around Orchard and craving for something soupy and light. #burpple
