The tonkatsu set comes with rice (white or multi grain rice) and soup! The soup is also very special! It is tonkatsu broth simmered with japanese pork, konnyaku, aburage, white and red carrot for over 12 hours! There is mushroom, and very soft white and red carrots in it for serving too! Super comforting hearty bowl of hot soup! The rice and soup is free flow refillable too! The tonkatsu was fried with freshly made japanese breadcrumbs for extra crunchiness, and very meaty juicy on the inside! It was not overly oily as well, as the tonkatsu is fried in clean vegetable oil. The tonkatsu set comes with refreshing japanese pickles, and a huge portion of crunchy shredded cabbages.
