The idea of the marriage of tart sumac and smoked salmon was probably what sold this toast for me. Expected to like this most, but somehow the flavours weren't as strong as we expected. Not to say that it wasn't good (it was pretty tasty πŸ˜‹), just wished for more beetroot flavour (it was more tangy than earthy) and perhaps a touch more chilli and salt β€” the last two you can easily remedy with the readily available condiments.
