Coming from a Hokkien family, I never knew such a dish existed so when I saw this recipe in @aroundthediningtable’s Three Dishes One Soup cook book, I knew I had to replicate it.

Made from leftover gruel and tapioca flour, the stir-fried porridge kueh is soft yet chewy. Love the texture! I tweaked the recipe a little and jazzed the dish with @crystaljadesg’s XO sauce, prawns, mala spam, bean sprouts and mushrooms. So yummy! Am gonna make it again when I have leftover porridge.
