We came here to celebrate the richness of Singaporean flavors. Chic dining room adjacent to the beautiful hotel lobby. On a Friday night, the wait was long, partially because the dining room is not well managed: There are only 10 tables, yet most 4-seat tables only have 2 pax; one long table had 3 pax. The beef rendang and seafood congee are succulent, the Konbu mee (a variation of Hokkien mee) is good. Service is smooth, under the direction of an effort Amazonian British receptionist. Prices are indeed exorbitant. It is interesting for a visit, but given the short menu and pricing level, Labyrinth at a Esplanade is a better choice for mod Sing.
