I had high-tea with my mama yesterday. Like cheap costume jewellery in an ornate box, the delicate bites were pretty to look at, but unremarkable to the palette. It was, however, still a pleasant experience to have with my mother ^^ The tea (from @twgteaofficial) was expectional as always too! The standout item, however, was its starter. Two beautiful eggs, crammed full of moist scrambled eggs. Almost chawanmushi smooth, it's mild flavour paired beautifully with the oceanic flavours of the uni, roe and caviar that made up the top layer.
