Launched on July 16, the BK Laksa Burger together with the Rendang Burger (yasss it's back!) celebrate our local hawker dish which is timely given that NDP is just round the corner. .
First impression of the Laksa burger (I had the Tendercrisp Chicken version; it's also available in Double Beef) is that it's pretty messy 😝 See all that sauce dripping and soaking on one side of the burger? The first bite brings to mind the Rendang burger. Quite similar in terms of upper notes and texture. What sets this apart is the strong hebi/dried shrimp flavour which is one key ingredient for the laksa sauce. True to laksa, there's a slight tinge of spiciness to this (but not overwhelming just nice). What's interesting are the slices of hardboiled eggs which lend an interesting twist to this burger with an added crunch of the sliced cucumbers.

Overall it's ok. If you like rendang burger, you'll probably like this one too.
