Food can look good but does not necessary mean it will taste good and with the explosion of social media; people tend to lean towards Instagram-worthy food trends over such ugly delicious food. The Sloppy Waffles ($20) sure plays the part of an ugly delicious food as on first glance, it looks like a heap of items stacked on top of each other on a plate. All the things that you want in a savoury waffle is on this plate; from the scrambled eggs to grilled chicken thigh, with the bacon and cheese on top of what seemed to taste like a sriracha waffle (I might be wrong in this). Served with a side of Thai peanut curry sauce, it brings a bit of heat when drizzled onto the mountain stack. This plate can definitely feed two and after which the food coma will hit you hard. Forget about counting the calories and just head to the gym another day while you slowly enjoy what might be one of the best savoury waffles in Singapore.
