Dropped into Drunken Farmer with friends last week and got to try some of their natural wines. Staff were great in letting us know the difference between the wine we buy in stores and what’s produced by the natural wine producers. Let’s just say one bottle of wine turned into a few more after we got started.

The food served matched the style of the wine with very French provincial style pate, rillette, dried sausage, assorted cheeses and breads. The large fresh Brittany oysters are not to be missed!!!

Staff were a little all over the place as it was quite busy when we were there but I hope as they only recently opened that this will improve.

As the place takes over the space of Tiong Bahru Bakery’s Safari concept, you’re seated in this large outdoor safari tent with decor to match. A really great space to chill out and have laughs with friends.

And the added bonus was the next day. Even with all the wine we drank most of us didn’t have the usual wine hangover, since natural wines have less sulfides and added preservatives that normally mass produced wines.

We will be making this place a regular hang out for sure.
