From Gonpachi Ramen, a newly-opened eatery at Kovan situated along the same stretch of shops as Hatter Street and Nakhon Kitchen serving mostly Ramen with a small variety of rice bowls and some sides.

The ramen broth is customizable as patrons could choose from a selection of broth available, though the Chicken & Pork broth was the only one available on the day of our visit — the broth is on the lighter side in terms of flavour, while the noodles imported from Japan is pretty springy and chewy. Beef slices were pretty decent, though just a little gamey for some; reminds us of Pho actually. The corn nibs add a little sweetness to the broth, but do add in the self-service sesame seeds and chili powder if more flavour is desired — certainly helped quite a bit. At $7.80 though, this is actually quite a decent and convenient bowl of ramen especially for those living around the Kovan area to solve those cravings as they come.
