From what we tasted tonight, their food was prepared with skills and delicately presented.
These Wagyu strips were done on point when we asked for medium rare. The magic on the plate were the ink pommes purée, porcini and marmite that wonderfully flavoured the beef.
They offered top-up to complete the meal with a starter and dessert, similarly worth checking out. The tartare of beef came with cucumber salad, crispy lotus root and chocolate. And it was as tasty as it sounded. Their chocolate cake dessert was nothing like we imagined. Instead, the hay ice cream had such smokey taste it was a perfect match with the chocolate and miso caramel.
Much as we liked our food tonight, we looked forward to their 2-monthly menu change for more surprises.
