Elected not to use the burpple deal as we felt it was too much food. Had the Miso Rosu-Katsu Set ($19.90+) and the Chicken Katsu Set ($16.90+).

We were wowed by the generous portions of the sets, with the crisp battered meats stealing the limelight. Though they could be more tender and moist, the accompanying sauces made it better. Don't leave your Katsu for too long though, the Miso sauce for the Miso set started to 'dry up' after a while and made the batter soggy. While not as good as other Katsu specialty places, this was a good no-frills meal with substantial portions.

Do ask for your soup and shredded cabbages to be refilled! The tonjiru soup in particular was chock full of carrots, daikons, pork and plenty other ingredients.
