Nice ’n’ Spicy Nik Naks ($1.5) are made of corn and in puffy, knobbly sticks, their texture is a little more dense than Cheetos, with a full toothsome body and chew to them. The flavour was tbh very unexpected, and definitely unlike any flavour we have tasted on corn snacks. At first bite, they are sweet and sour, with plenty of acid and vinegar to boot. The depth grows even further with a bit of umami-saltiness in the form of soy sauce and garlic. To top it all off, flavorful notes of curry and onion linger in the distance. Despite the roller coaster of flavors going on, everything comes together very well at the end, and we surely fell into a deep addiction with these, bags after bags.
