The "KALEA 65" was a mistake made by the drunken chef to bake some St Sebastian cheesecake for an after-party dessert on Street 65 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. A drunken mistake that turned out to be the best cheesecake in town.

A work of plated art, Moonwalk is our signature dessert! Conceptualised by Juan Amador and Hüseyin Turan especially for House On The Moon, it captures the essence of what we are all about. This is a dessert that will take your tastebuds on an intergalactic trip.

Situated in @greatworldsingapore, @houseonthemoon_official curate desserts from chefs who are recognised in
the Michelin Guide. This is a collaborative project with
multi-Michelin stars Chef Juan Amador and his protégé, Hüseyin Turan.

📝 Chef Hüseyin Turan, who is now based in Singapore, is of turkish descent. Born and raised in Germany, he trained under Chef Juan Amador and rose to head the Pastry Dept in Restaurant Amador in Germany. Hüseyin also had the opportunity to understudy world renowned pastry Chef Paco Torreblanca in Alicante, Spain. Thereafter he was Head Pastry Chef at Zuma Istanbul. In the midst of building his career, Hüseyin managed to fulfil his dream of travelling and working in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Barcelona and Colombo.
