My most trusted foodie @spottypuff recommended it to me a few months back but I've only managed to try it today.

I had 3 versions of the fish soup - sliced fish, fried fish, and fish head. Didn't like the sliced fish as I didn't think it's as fresh as I wish it is, it wasn't tender enough too. For the best sliced fish, I return incessantly to the teochew fish soup at Maxwell.

This fried fish soup is pretty good though! The stock is sweet and the fried fish chunks are thick and yummy. This bowl reminds me of Jin Hua at Maxwell, which is of a very similar style.
