Loved the music being played (I am very much a late 2000s-early 2010s music kinda person). Visited with my brother for a weekday lunch and place was lively but not crowded. We ordered a soup of the day (tomato soup), oreo milkshake, New York strip steak (medium rare with Echalote sauce), and Hickory Pork Ribs. Everything was quite tasty and very filling. I definitely enjoyed the smokiness of the ribs, the complex taste of the Cajun rice (we had it as one of the sides to our mains), and the crumbly corn bread the most, but the rest of the food was more than satisfactory. Prices are very reasonable for the occasional lunch treat. Definitely would recommend the place to friends and would love to come back with more people so we can try more of the sides and/or the sharing platters!
