I was actually lured by the sight of the three whole squids atop the plate of fried Hokkien mee on the signboard which prompted me to order a medium ($4/$6/$8) plate to try.

I enjoyed the wet and gloopy texture of the noodles which have absorbed the flavors of the braising stock and simmered to a saucy consistency that I like.

Their sambal chili deserves a mention too as I could taste the umami flavors in it.
