Both J and I have visited Manna Story, a korean restaurant located at Basement 2 of Plaza Singapura.

We have ordered the Budae Jjigae, which is a spicy stew with kimchi, ham, sausage, rice cake, beancurd and ramyeon ($13.80 per pax and minimum for 2 pax). The Budae Jjigae is a simple korean hot pot dish, but it remains mouthwatering especially perfect for raining days to keep yourself warm. The soup base is flavourful and it is not too salty or spicy. It is important to note that they do not include chicken or pork or beef slices in the soup, thus it is not recommended for meat lovers.
We have also ordered the Twi-Gim- Deep fried assorted vegetables ($6.80). It is good for sharing with your friend and though it looks a little greasy but the Twi Gim remains crispy and not jelat.

Manna Story will be a place that I will revisit if I am around dhoby ghaut and would like to have a quick fix for affordable korean food craving. πŸ“ Manna Story (Basement 2 of Plaza Singapura)
