Only the teriyaki chicken and truffle beef bowl wee available, so we got one of each. For the price, the portion was pretty huge, definitely getting your moneyโ€™s worth. The truffle beef bowl had the familiar aromatic scent of truffle while the beef pieces were thin and soft with a savoury-sweet marinade drizzled all over. Sauce however ended up making the entire rice bowl a bit too salty, but thatโ€™s just my personal opinion. The teriyaki chicken bowl was surprisingly good too, with thick and juicy chicken pieces which had a slightly less salty marinade paired with it and sans the truffle taste. Personally thought the rice was a bit too mushy, and when mixed in with the onsen egg, had an almost- congee texture. Actually ordered the iced matcha latte, but was served an iced latte (no wonder I only paid $4.40) which I guess I did not mind either as it was not bad. Would like to go back to try their other popular rice bowl, the mentaiko salmon one, but in hopes of getting less mushy rice.
