I’d be lying through my teeth if I claimed to enjoy all the brunch and mains from walking on sunshine, for there were misses. Take the tough chicken breast and steak cuts in the chicken pizza and striploin steak main as examples; I was also not impressed by the ciabatta and baguette used in the panini sandwich and salmon, prawn salad as well. Call me picky, but I hold good, artisan bread with high regard and dislike anything less.

That said the desserts we had were sure wins, with cafe style waffles and excellent soufflé pancakes. I also particularly liked the idea of a rectangle block of savoury pancake, inspired by korean Jeon, as a brunch item. Also all the salads and vegetables served were fresh.

Nonetheless, thank you walking on sunshine for hosting and Burpple for the invite ✨ I’m sure the establishment has potential with some tweaks to its menu.
