The woodfired bakehouse and restaurant along East Coast Road, Firebake, has added new items into their existing menu and launched a refreshed weekday set lunch menu (available from Tuesdays to Fridays) that’s an absolute steal at $22 for a two-course of Appetiser (or dessert) and Main or $25 for a three-course meal of Appetiser, Main and Dessert. Operating hours have also been changed and the restaurant will operate from 11:30am – 10pm from Tuesdays to Fridays, and will be opening earlier over the weekends from 9am to cater to the early birds. One of the morning bakes that you absolutely have to order are the Milk Buns with Traditional Kaya ($3.50) as the amazingly soft buns with the homemade kaya jam is a match made in heaven.
