The Hojicha Basque Burnt Cheesecake ($8), on the other hand, was sweeter and the slice more molten. The nuances of the teas were distinct although I would favour a stronger profile as I am a tea lover. And with that said, I enjoyed the Hojicha one a tad more as compared to the Matcha and Original cheesecake. The roasted aroma matched well with the creamy rich cheese - the prominence of the bitter, earthy notes complementing the caramelized top.
