Though it took many years for the expansion, this new outlet still boasts a menu of their signature Peranakan dishes in a classy and modern space. The restaurant is not new to the F&B scene, having amassed a wealth of experience in Peranakan cuisine and was even awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for the past three years, a testament to the quality and taste of the food.

What you can expect dining in this restaurant includes having starters such as a winged bean salad called the Kerabu Kacang Botol ($11.50) and Kerabu Timun ($8.50) which is a tossed cucumber salad with chicken gizzards. When it comes to the mains, you can expect full-on flavour packed dishes that goes perfectly well with a bowl of white rice. From Beef Rendang ($20) to Pork Ribs Assam ($20) and Ayam Panggang Blue Ginger ($16), there is definitely a meat option for everyone. My favourite from the three has got to be the beef rendang which is made from a family recipe rempah that are pounded by hand and cooked with love. This dish is made from tender chunks of shin meat in a thick curry that is reminiscent of an authentic peranakan dish. For vegetables and seafood, diners can opt for the deep fried eggplant in fresh chilli paste called the Terong Goreng Cili ($13) and another crowd favourite, the Sotong Keluak ($22), tender cuts of squid stir fried in buah keluak and tamarind juice. To fill your tummies, there is the Nonya Noodles ($15), similar to our local hokkien fried noodles but this is flavoured with bean paste. Last but not least, its desserts time and what better way to end the meal than with a bowl of Durian Chendol ($7).
