Had Tenya once at their Orchard Central outlet previously and now they have a bright new space at ION Orchard! Picked one of the sets just so that I could try their new spicy cold udon. Tempura for this bowl includes prawns, squid, lotus, crab stick, pumpkin and french beans. A pity that the prawns were a bit bland, but we liked that the items were all not as oily. The pumpkin was especially sweet! Their tare leans a bit more savory than the usual sweeter sort. The default amount of sauce is quite minimal, but they do have bottles of tare on each table of you to add on.

Ps. Opt for less rice and get a discount of 50 cents - I highly recommend that if you’re not too hungry cause the set’s portion was quite filling. Their food’s very decent at this portion and price point!
