perhaps with Murphy's law? 🤦🏻‍♀️Everything that could possibly go wrong, went wrong. Essentially seafood pasta in saffron sauce, supposedly a chef's recommendation according to their menu. Starchy, overcooked & underseasoned should be an understatement. What eventually turned me off was that the seafood (all prawns, clams & squid) tasted like they were either directly retrieved from badly frozen department or just poor supplier I wouldn't even.
.
I don't know, the kitchen might not have the capacity to handle peak hours, so it could be a bad idea to continuously lay out more tables if quality can't meet expectations. The service was alright, they were nice so I actually feel guilty posting. Alright I mean, there're way too many good reviews & it's just weird I'm the only one (hope not?) writing this. Taste is subjective but I wasn't the only one who felt that way.
.
Those who followed me long enough knows I only post poor reviews like once every few months (mostly due to bad service)? This just so happens to be one with food standard I can't ignore, especially when I hear that people are specially making trips down with high hopes 😢I'm not opposing anyone to head down to try, but perhaps try to go during off-peak hours?
.
& Let's just hope it's a one off incident, after all it's one of the most atas & affordable options I can order to my place. & I do believe in second chances 🙆🏻
