For this year, the new launches include the Hazelnut Peppermint Lapis ($25/$47/$90) and Mixed Fruits Lapis ($25/$47/$90). Both lapis exude the Christmas spirit with the former taking inspiration from the candy cane’s peppermint flavour with the inclusion of hazelnut bits while the latter is their interpretation of the holiday fruit cake with an assortment of dried fruits such as golden raisins, black raisins, cranberries, cherries, strawberries, orange peel and lemon peel in it. Even though these are not the regular kueh lapis that you normally get, the modernized versions at The Lapis Place still contain the essence and flavours of the traditional ones while incorporating unique additions into it.

Besides the kueh lapis, they do have other festive treats such as the Peppermint Rose Meringue ($18) and a variety of Candy Cane Chocolate Bars ($6.50 each). For these Christmas specials, the first day of collection will start from 13 December 2020 and last day of collection on 3 January 2021.
